Why
did I choose to call these pages Baggins?
Well Baggins is the name of an old, now gone best friend.
My best friend for 15 years There is no better way I could express my friendship for this loyal companion than to name this snapshot of my life after him.
He was named Baggins because he was a Hobbit of a dog. Short but with big furry feet. Home loving and a creature of habit but with enormous endurance and a spark of adventure. He was a real Took and a true Bagginses.
I hope these pages will do him justice.
I
hope this site will continue and expand. It includes information about my
farmlet and my activities on it. I have started a 'Story' section telling tales
of life on a small farm in New Zealand and hope to continue expanding on it.
The popular computer pages continue so you can download my attempts at programming. I have expanded the Photography pages and hope to soon add some more of art pages.

The design of these pages is based on native New Zealand birds. The front page boasts two hansome tuis and the background is feathers on the wing of a bellbird.
